At Dando Delights our food products "taste like paradise" because they come from paradise - at least that's what we like to call the lush subtropical valley in Limpopo where we grow our macadamia nuts! Of course it's not only where they come from that makes our products so delicious, but the fact that we grow our nuts with care, hand-pick, hand-roast and then hand-coat them with our velvety smooth Belgian chocolate - not to mention our obsession with world class quality. In a nutshell - pun intended - indulge yourself with the rich, buttery, and subtly sweet taste of our nuts, their satisfyingly crunchy texture and the rich, melt-in-your-mouth flavour of our Belgian Chocolate... and 'taste paradise'!
A 'taste of paradise' scooped from Limpopo
Our Story
Britt Dando embarked on a mission to perfect a locally produced premium ice cream using only the finest and freshest ingredients from local farms in Tzaneen, Limpopo.
Tzaneen, in the Limpopo Province is known as ‘the tropical paradise’, a fertile valley producing a variety of fruits and other products in abundance. Avocados, granadillas, pecan nuts, blueberry’s, oranges, macadamia nuts, mangoes are just some of the seasonal flavours that inspire her. Some of her ice cream flavours are infused with a twist of locally handcrafted rum, not to mention the best macadamia flower honey, whilst others remain as pure favourites such as vanilla bean or chocolate.
Inspired by her macadamia nut farm, Britt started crafting ice cream recipes in her home kitchen that perfectly captured the essence of each ingredient in a creamy frozen form.
That's when Britt decided to share her ice cream magic with the world. She founded Dando Delights, a company which would not only provide an opportunity for all to ‘taste paradise’ but also allow both Britt and her husband Chris to have fun creating macadamia nut inspired premium products.

ice cream comes in Kraft tubs and lids that are biodegradable and re-usable! Once you’ve licked your favourite flavour clean (we won’t judge), simply wash out the tub and give it a second life.
